However I have selected from all of these for you the litany hizb of the great Imam, in whom there was gathered profuse knowledge along with utmost taqwa of Allah.Īn Imam who dedicated all of his life in the path of Allah in knowledge, action, abstention zuhdremembrance, service to the generality of the Muslims and giving sincere advice to their leaders. Before us today there are many litanies of these righteous people. Among its many benefits is the subtle way it helps to purify intentions, facilitate aspirations and give access to spiritual perfection.Īnyone whom God has given the good fortune to recite this devotion has gained an invaluable treasure. He will put a shield around his or her family, friends and associates. It is a unique and proven fortress of physical and spiritual protection. This devotion hizb is not specific to any particular spiritual path tariqa and is highly respected and widely accepted by them all. In You, O Allah, I take refuge from their evils.Sharaf al-Nawawimay Allah be well pleased with him and please him. In You, O Allah, I seek protection against them. In You, O Allah, I seek refuge from the evil of myself and the evil of others, and the evil my Lord has created, forged, and designed. Allah is more powerful, stronger, and greater than what I fear and guard against. Allah is my Lord: no deity exists other than Him. In the name of Allah I commence, and with it I finish.Īllah is my Lord - I associate no partner unto Him.
